Internships

We are always looking for new professionals to join our team through our internship program. We seek self-motivated interns with the ability to work with a team and individually. The intern must be able to multi-task, work independently, keep up with a busy and changing environment and change directions and focus on projects quickly. This is a great opportunity to work hands-on with the principal and the team at a public relations agency, and learn everything from how to maintain media databases to pitching stories and writing press releases.

Responsibilities:

    • Maintain local and national media databases

    • Read & analyze recent client coverage

    • Maintain file database to track client coverage

    • Monitor and clip all relevant coverage as requested

    • Monitor current events for possible client media connections

    • Pitch stories & monitor and update editorial opportunities

    • Coordinate media opportunities and with media personnel

    • Compile media and clipping reports

    • Research and write press release, advisories and other press materials

    • Support principal and agency assistant

    • Attend meetings, answer phones, file – administrative tasks as necessary

    • Serve as agency representative

Qualifications:

    • Ability to speak and write well in English

    • Good communications and organizational skills

    • Responsible and punctual

    • Interest in public relations or experience a plus
